Construction of a 300-acre crude oil unloading facility in Joliet, Illinois. This fast track project that saw the first train unloaded 9 months after start of construction project.

3600’ of crude oil unloading platform with 120 unloading positions was provided in order to unload the rail cars

Project highlights include a new bridge overpass, a vehicular bridge to the facility, two railroad bridges, a tunnel underpass, 52,000’ of new track construction, and unloading pump system including six unloading pumps, two 150,000 barrel tanks, and an outbound pump system that feeds 4.2 miles of crude oil pipeline. To accomplish this over 1.8 million CY was excavated, and 20,000 ft. of piping installed.
