Project Overview

This utility plant expansion project includes a substantial addition to the existing central utility plant building and two new chillers to enhance the universityʼs cooling capacity. The plant remained operational throughout the 18-month project. To achieve this, the construction team installed temporary chilled water and condenser water piping and scheduled an extensive phasing plan for required shutoffs and tie-ins.
